Edumentors.co.uk is a one-to-one tutoring platform for pupils aged 4 to 19. We help parents find verified tutors for their children and connect with them via our online booking system. We ask parents to have a 15-minute introduction meeting with the tutors of their choice to book sessions with confidence.

Our educational experts hold one-to-one interviews with each tutor to see how they respond to different questions and check their qualifications by verifying their academic achievements and certifications. Only after the educational experts feel confident about onboarding the tutors and qualification documents are verified, they become searchable tutors on our platform.

No, we only accept current students or very recent graduates from the UK's top universities as our tutors. Because of how amazing all of them are, we call them Super-Tutors.

Parents enter search criteria based on their requirements, which can be: availability, budget, academic targets, etc. After that our platform shows parents the best matches and encourages parents to book free trial sessions to get to know them better. Don’t worry, if you later decide to change your mind, we will find a better match for you and replace your tutor with no additional changes to you.

Yes! We encourage every parent to book a free 15-minute trial session with tutors of their choice to have an opportunity to chat, discuss academic targets and confidently book sessions afterwards.

Yes, you can chat with tutors on our platform via the Chat feature located on the top right corner. We will also create a WhatsApp group chat so that it’s easily accessible to everyone.

Tutors set their own prices based on their experience and expertise. Platform adds a commission on top based on how many sessions you book. The more sessions, the less the cheaper it gets. Most of our parents book 26 or more sessions to enjoy the discounts. All payments are done through a secure online payment platform Stripe. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Direct Debit and many more.

We will never ask you to enter card details on Edumentors website. Instead, you will be taken to our payments partner Stripe website. Stripe is the world's leading and one of the most secure online payments platforms. You can find information about their security and encryption here: https://stripe.com/docs/security/stripe Simply put, you are as safe with Stripe as you would be with any reputable bank.

No, we will not charge you for all sessions at once. You will be charged per each session 24 hours in advance. We know it’s more convenient for most of our parents to pay separately for each session, therefore we will NOT charge the full amount at once.

You need to go to the My Bookings page inside your dashboard and click on the Confirmed button to see your active Bookings.

You can choose online or in-person sessions from the platform. If you choose online, tutors will organise Zoom or Google Meets sessions. Both platforms are widely used around the globe and provide effective tools for remote tutoring.

Younger children find it difficult to attend online sessions, however if your child is older than 10, we would recommend booking online sessions. In-person sessions tend to be more expensive due to additional travel time and costs. Nevertheless, our super-tutors are as good in-person as they are online.

Yes, we encourage all parents to rank and leave reviews to our tutors after the sessions are completed. Feedback will help tutors find their areas for improvement and it will also help Edumentors understand how each tutor is performing.

We are committed to delivering the best tutoring experience, therefore if you are unsatisfied with your current tutor, you can get in touch with our team and we will replace the tutor at no additional cost to you. This is how we maintain 100% positive feedback from all our parents.

Yes. You can send a reschedule request from the platform and once the tutor approves it, the session will appear with a new time in your calendar. If you were already charged for the rescheduled session, you won’t be charged again. You can only reschedule sessions that have not been completed yet.
